Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and Imoj Kharel (United States), who makes Daau. By playing Daau you agree to them, to the community rules, and to how we handle your data in the privacy policy. We’ve tried to keep them short and plain.
1. Who can play
You must be 18 or older to play Daau. If you’re under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. One person, one account: don’t share yours or use someone else’s.
2. Your account
Daau signs you in on your phone without a password. Save your account with Apple or Google if you want to keep it when you change phones; if you don’t, losing the phone can mean losing the account. You’re responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your phone and sign-ins safe, and tell us at info@nextgenx.io if you think someone else is using it.
3. Daau cash is pretend money
The रू amounts in Daau, including free cash, winnings and room stakes, are a virtual game currency. They cost nothing and are worth nothing outside the game: you can’t buy them, sell them, cash them out or trade them for anything, in Daau or anywhere else. Your Daau cash is a licence to use part of the game, not property you own. We may change how much free cash there is, correct balances changed by a bug or by cheating, and reset Daau cash if the game changes.
4. Settle-later rooms
In a settle-later room the game keeps score in points, so you can see who won and who owes whom. That’s all it does: Daau doesn’t take, hold, pass on or enforce any payment between players, and isn’t part of any arrangement you make with each other. Don’t use Daau to gamble for real money where the law doesn’t allow it; following the laws where you live is up to you.
5. What you write and share
Your name, @username, messages and the names you give rooms and circles are yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to the people you share them with, for as long as we need to run Daau. Don’t share anything you don’t have the right to share. We don’t check everything people write, but we act on reports, and we may remove anything that breaks the rules.
6. Playing fair and keeping Daau working
Follow the community rules. Don’t cheat, collude, use bots or modified apps, exploit bugs, copy or reverse-engineer the app, get into parts of Daau you aren’t meant to, overload it, or collect other players’ information. If you find a bug that could be abused, tell us instead.
7. Friends, invites and links
Invite links and Daau cards let whoever has them see a short preview and join or add you, so share them with people you mean to. Blocking someone stops them reaching you at once.
8. When we may act
If you break these terms or the rules, or put other players or Daau at risk, we may remove content, take back Daau cash won unfairly, limit what you can do, or suspend or close your account, with or without warning depending on how serious it is. If you disagree, write to us and we’ll look again.
9. Leaving
You can stop playing whenever you like and delete your account in Me › Account & sign-in. Deleting is immediate and can’t be undone, and your Daau cash goes with it. We may stop offering Daau, or part of it; if we close Daau, we’ll tell players in the app first where we can.
10. The game as it is
We work hard to keep Daau fair and running, but we provide it as it is and as available, and can’t promise it will always work, be free of bugs or keep every feature. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for lost Daau cash or progress, and our total liability to you is limited to 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that can’t be taken away.
11. Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and we, not they, are responsible for Daau and for answering any claims about it. If you got Daau from the App Store, Apple has no duty to support it, and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms against you as a third party. Your use of the App Store and Google Play is also governed by their own terms.
12. Changes and the law
When we change these terms in a way that matters, Daau shows you the new version and asks you to agree before you play again. These terms are governed by the laws of United States, without taking away protections the law where you live gives you.
